1. Service Description

Ally is a personal AI assistant platform that provides each user with a dedicated, isolated AI agent running on its own infrastructure. The service includes natural language chat (web, Telegram), scheduled task automation, persistent memory, AI-powered assistance, and optional integrations with Gmail, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook.

Ally is operated by Ally ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ally. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account at [email protected].

One account per person. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

3. Acceptable Use

Your use of Ally is subject to Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy, which governs the AI models that power Ally. In addition, you agree not to use Ally to:

  • Generate or distribute illegal, harmful, abusive, or harassing content
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or billing
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our systems
  • Use the Service to train competing AI models
  • Transmit malware, spam, or other malicious content
  • Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Payment and Billing

Ally requires a paid subscription. There is no free tier or free trial. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

Plans

  • Basic: $50/month or $480/year ($40/month billed annually) — personal productivity, 5 scheduled tasks
  • Pro: $250/month or $2,400/year ($200/month billed annually) — heavy use, 20 scheduled tasks, priority support

Both plans include access to all AI capabilities. The difference is usage capacity and the number of scheduled tasks.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of your subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting [email protected]. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method. This guarantee applies to your first subscription period only.

Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually). You may cancel at any time via the Billing settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial billing periods after the 14-day guarantee window.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address. Existing subscriptions are honoured until the end of their current billing period.

5. Data Ownership and Privacy

Your use of Ally is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

You own your data. All content you submit to Ally remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models. You can export all of your data at any time from Settings.

6. AI-Generated Content

AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. Ally is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice.

You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions. We accept no liability for actions taken based on AI output.

7. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime for the Ally platform. However, this is a target, not a guarantee. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or damages resulting from service interruptions, including those caused by our infrastructure providers or upstream AI model providers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ally and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, your data is retained for a 7-day grace period and then permanently deleted.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Service. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and via the in-app changelog at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
